Memorial Day/Touch a Truck Celebration - Saturday, May 26
Celebrate Memorial Day and honor our fallen military heroes at the Rowlett Community Centre at 10:00am, then continue the day with lots of children's activities, bounce houses, food, and vehicles of all shapes and sizes for the kids climb on and explore!
City Offices and Facilities Closed for Memorial Day
City of Rowlett offices & facilities, including the Community Centre, Library, Municipal Court & Animal Shelter, will be closed on Monday, May 28 in observation of Memorial Day. Trash and recycling will be collected as regularly scheduled.

Library Closed May 5 - June 6
The Library is moving back to Main Street, opening day is June 6! To facilitate the move, the Rowlett Road location will close May 5. During this time, materials may be returned to the Rowlett Road location, where a dropbox will remain in place.
Signal Timing Improvements on SH 66
The Public Works Department recently completed traffic signal retiming improvements on SH 66 from Dexham Road to Scenic Drive! The goal is to move traffic more efficiently across town by coordinating the traffic signals for smoother flow. Read on...
