The Engineering Division provides design and construction management for capital construction projects.  The Division review plans, issues permits for work within the public right-of-way, and maintains the City's infrastructure.  The Public Works Engineering Assistant/Construction Inspectors are committed to delivering quality projects for the City of Rowlett, through diligent administration of contracts and permits for Public Works Construction and Capital Improvement Projects (streets, sewers, storm drains, street lighting, traffic signals, bridges, parks improvement, median islands, municipal facilities and all other improvements within the Public Right-of-Way).  This commitment ensures that all public improvements are built in accordance with City standards and accepted engineering and construction practices in order to provide a secure and reliable infrastructure for all members of the community.
