Our installations are a fun way to get you chatting about ways to improve transportation and walkability, aging and housing, income and housing, events and programming, and cultural representation in Rowlett. Know where to go, who to call, and what is going on in the City of Rowlett! Learn how Elected Officials interact with City staff and how the nine major departments work together to deliver City services on time, on budget, and with an eye on the future. The City Academy 13-week course begins on June 2nd and ends on September 1st. Classes take place every Thursday night from 6:30 - 8:30 pm during this period. Find the application here.
Gardens in Our Neighborhoods: Our Spring yards are now blooming with beautiful flowers, and pollinators are in the air! Be sure to watch for them and just as important try to avoid spraying pesticides around this time, or even better make it a routine to use natural pest control methods!
