Summer Reading 2022 Guidelines

Use the Following Guidelines to Get Started:

  1. Registration for Summer Reading is required. To register, click HERE. 
  2. Rowlett Public Library's Summer Reading Program can be logged in-person from June 13, 2022 through August 5, 2022.
  3. A Captain's Log is required as proof of reading progress and attendance to programs. These can be collected at the Library or downloaded below.
  4. The reading log is the main challenge. However, extra entries for the grand prize drawings may be earned by attending programs or completing extra activities. More details are listed under the "Grand Prizes" tab.
  5. Weekly prizes must be claimed within the timeframes listed in the Captain's Logs.
  6. Grand prizes will be announced at the Tail End of Summer Splash on August 6, 2022.

Challenges for All Ages

Babies & Toddlers: Ages 0-3

  • Count to 5! Whether you complete 5 activities provided, read 5 books, or do a combination, make it add up to 5 each week.
