For children of all ages who can actively engage. This interactive storytime with books, music, and movement is a high engagement storytime that instills the love of literacy and the Library at an early age. Caregivers also learn valuable information on how to continue building literacy at home. While all ages are welcome, we will focus on pre-literacy skills. Thursday is a repeat of Wednesday’s program.

Super fans can show off their best Rebel Alliance or Galactic Empire gear for a chance to win in the cosplay contest.
Maker Monday is an in-person craft program for adults every 2nd Monday. Come learn something new, share with others, seek crafting advice, and meet other makers. Materials are provided free of charge. Ages 14 and up welcome. This month we will cover Star Wars cosplay.
A 20-minute lapsit storytime featuring developmentally appropriate board books, rhymes, and movement encouraging early literacy for infants up to 18 months. Caregivers also learn valuable information on how to continue building literacy at home. If children can walk steadily, then we suggest Family Storytime.

Teens can come hang out, eat pizza, and watch a movie related to a book. We will discuss the book and the movie (love it or hate it) in open-minded conversation. This month we will watch Jurassic Park (PG-13) and read the book by Michael Crichton. Registration is requested for an accurate food order. You can register at the reference desk or online on the library’s website. This program is for teens ages 13-17.
Lamonica Thomas, an independent Medicare educator, will present information on signing up for Medicare, submitting claims, and the differences between Medicare and Medicare advantage.

Join local authors Larry Yoakum III, John Moody, Brandon Henry, Jenni Martin, Paula Walker Baker, and Jackie Smith as they share their stories with us. Each author will also have books available to purchase and autograph.
